There are currently many movers and shakers in the WWE power rankings, so it comes as no surprise that many wrestlers will be given title opportunities this year. 2017 could just be the year for young, up and coming WE stars to experience having their very own title reigns.

First up is Big Cass, ho has recently been tearing up the tag team scene on the main roster. In his matches with his teammate Enzo Amore, he is usually the one to pick up the pinfall for the win. While he and Amore could definitely make a push for a tag team title, rumors suggest that due to Raw's thinning singles realm he may be in line for a singles championship instead.

Sami Zayn is another promising wrestler who could also win a championship this year. He is unlikely to be a world champion yet, given his short time on the main rosters, bit he could well be the next United States champion.

Hopefully, Zayn will not only be a supporting character in Braun Strowman's storyline and will be given his own time in the limelight. He was out of action for a week after being dominated by Strowman, but is expected to return on the Jan. 16 episode of Raw, according to Wrestle Zone.

Speaking of which, Strowman is also expected to win a WWE championship title this year. He is expected to be the victor at the Royal Rumble, which would guarantee him a spot at the main event at WrestleMania 33. It is at the "grandest stage of all" that he is expected to come out on top with the WWE Universal Championship.

Baron Corbin is another star that could very well challenge for a major championship, granted that he has already taken on names such as Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles. However, he may have to wait a little bit longer for a world title after losing to the returning John Cena, according to ESPN. Because of this, he is expected to first win the Intercontinental Championship before moving on to bigger and brighter things.

Finally, on the more experienced side of the main roster, there is "The Eater of Worlds" Bray Wyatt. He is being touted as a potential Royal Rumble winner or Intercontinental champion. He could also become a world champion in the WWE after fans of professional wrestling have warmly received glimpses of this scenario.
