Big names like DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, Hassan Whiteside, Paul Millsap and Jimmy Butler have been included in trade talks as the National Basketball Association trade deadline draws closer. These superstars cost big money and as a business, teams look to acquire guys for a bargain. Here are the four potential steals in the trade market:
Brandon Knight
Knight has seen a decrease in minutes with the Phoenix Suns having a backcourt logjam and he could be on his way out to another team sooner than later. With the decline in his user percentage, Knights' market value has also declined. It is worth noting that the Cleveland Cavaliers, Sacramento Kings and Chicago Bulls need a force in their backcourts and acquiring Knight might get his career back on track.
Nerlens Noel
The fourth-year big man is part of a front court logjam in Philadelphia and either he or Jahlil Okafor could be dealt or or before Feb. 23. Recently, he has been a regular starter alongside Joel Embiid but Noel has a history of criticizing the 76ers organization for drafting too many big men. There is an influx in teams needing of a rim protector, The Sixers Sense reported, and Noel fits the bill.
Andrew Bogut
The Aussie has made it clear he does not see himself staying with the Dallas Mavericks in a long time and his shot blocking and passing would be a good use for a playoff contender. The Boston Celtics, Portland Trail Blazers and Houston Rockets are the possible destination for the seven-footer, ESPN reported.
Anthony Morrow
Since the year started, Morrow has played in only two of the Oklahoma City Thunder's last nine games and he could be on the trading block for the Thunder to acquire other assets. Teams who are in need of a shooter can use Morrow's prolific shooting and instant offense.
