Marvel Entertainment's upcoming superhero flick - "Logan" is without a doubt one of the highly anticipated films for 2017 as this will be Hugh Jackman's final film to play as "Wolverine." Jackman tweeted the story plot of the film on Jan. 13 and has been making rounds online ever since. As per the synopsis, it is said that the aging Logan will serve some sort of Professor X's carer as the latter's health condition worsened due to old age. Moreover, it also stated that both of them are in hiding somewhere in the Mexican border as mutants are being hunted down during in the post-apocalyptic future.

However, everything will change as they come across with a young mutant that is being tracked down by these so-called "dark forces." The young mutant mentioned is obviously Dafne Keen's role as X-23 whose attributes have a striking resemblance to "Wolverine's." For those who are not yet familiar with the character, X-23 is the female clone of "Wolverine," though she only dons a pair of claws on each hand while the third set of claws are situated on both of her feet.

In line with such, most of the information spilled by Jackman seemed to already have been hinted by the trailer that was teased back in October 2016, though there are still some parts of it that need more details. Moreover, as both the synopsis and the teaser trailer suggested a sickly Charles Xavier, the probability of him getting killed off yet again in an "X-Men" movie is quite high.

This would make the forthcoming film's cinematic value up a notch including its plot that mutants on that alternate reality are close to being wiped out, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, the film garnered an R-rating hinting that it will be grittier than its predecessors.

20th Century Fox, on the other hand, already featured a portion of the said film and since then received positive reviews from film pundits. In a statement obtained by Independent, "Deadpool" star Ryan Reynolds even deemed the upcoming Jackman film worthy to snag an Oscar.

The film's director, James Mangold, has recently released photos from the forthcoming film featuring images of Sir Patrick Stewart (Charles Xavier), Keen, and Jackman. Furthermore, the third and final teaser trailer for "Logan" will be rolled out anytime soon, though it is not yet sure on when will it be released.

Hence, fans are asking on when the final trailer will be dished out. Mangold took to Twitter to respond to such ponderings stating that he is not the one who call the shots on when to shell out the film's teasers. He went on saying that it is being planned and decided at a corporate level.
