Nokia Android phone, Nokia 8, will be among a list of devices slated to be launched during this year's Mobile World Congress (MWC). The MWC 2017 is set to happen in February in Barcelona, Spain.

During the event, Samsung has opted out of the conference and will not be launching the Samsung Galaxy S8 though, there are more smartphones that are set to transform the mobile world this year. Among the smartphones expected include Nokia 8, Moto G5 Plus and HTC 11 and more.

Nokia finally announced its 2017 Android phone, which marks the return of Nokia Company to the mainstream mobile market. In January this year, Nokia launched its first Android smartphone and the company is expected to reveal more this year at MWC. The Finnish multinational communications and Information Technology Company is expected that it will launch an expensive version of Nokia 8 at MWC this year.

The new Nokia smartphone is likely to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and will come packed with 6GB RAM. In addition, it is expected to have a 24-megapixel rear camera with Carl Zeiss lens and a 12-megapixel sensor front camera, GSMArena reported.

During the MWC 2017, BlackBerry is expected to reveal its new BlackBerry device codenamed BlackBerry Mercury. Recently, TCL showcased this next phase of BlackBerry device at CES in Las Vegas. The launch of BlackBerry Mercury will continue the legacy for physical QWERTY keyboards in 2017. However, not much has been revealed about this new device though, the device is said to have a full-metal body and will run on the latest Android Nougat OS.

According to Gadgets 360, another smartphone that is expected to cause a positive impact is Lenovo Moto G5 Plus. The device will be launched by Lenovo on Feb. 26 at MWC 2017. Lenovo, a Chinese multinational technology company, is expected to reveal the mid-range Moto G5 plus at the conference. The device which is 5.5 inch is likely to feature a Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset with a 4GB RAM and a 32GB internal storage. Lenovo Mote G5 Plus will also have a 12-megapixel primary shooter and a 5-megapixel front camera. In addition, the device will come with a 3,080 mAh battery.

HTC 11 will also see the light during the 2017 MWC as HTC, Taiwanese Tech Company, launch their next flagship smartphone this year. The HTC 11 will come packed with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset and be backed by 8GB RAM and a Quad HD screen display.

Lastly, LG will also launch their flagship phone the LG G6 during the MWC 2017. LG G6 might take forward the legacy for the LG G5 a device that was a modular smartphone launched in 2016. The smartphone is said to come with a more advanced camera than the LG G5 and a 4K display.
