After Jan. 15, some of the games are rotating out of the free games offered by the Xbox Games with Gold January 2017. With this, the horror game "Outlast" as well as "The Cave" are out of the Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms respectively.

According to Express UK, the "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" remains to be free up until Jan. 31. Other games that come with the second half of the Xbox Games with Gold service for January 2017 include "Killer Instinct: Season 2 Ultra Edition" for the Xbox One and "Rayman Origins" for the Xbox 360. The former will be available until Feb. 15 while the latter until Jan. 31.

The "World of Van Helsing: Deathtrap" is known to be a tower defense and action RPG hybrid. It features a versus mode as well as a cooperative campaign and a long, extensive single-player campaign which gives players the task of saving the world against the monsters of the void.

"Killer Instinct: Season 2 Ultra Edition" is a game from the legendary franchise. It features a fluid fighting gameplay, a unique roster of characters and an open-ended combo system. It is available for either single player mode or multiplayer mode, with the latter open for online matches that give players a rank based on their performance.

"Rayman Origins" lets players take the role of the titular character Rayman, who needs to rescue the Teensies and save the Glade. The game has more than 60 levels and will also feature a wide cast of other playable characters.

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Star, Microsoft has added ten more games to their Xbox 360 Backwards Compatibility program library. These games include: "Dragon Age Origins," "Battlefield: Bad Company 2," "Battlefield 3," "Strania," "The Splatters," "Scrap Metal," "Ghostbusters," "Mega Man 9," "Mega Man 10," and "Beat'n Groovy."
