Niantic has just rolled out a new patch for their AR title, "Pokemon GO." Fans were pretty much disappointed with the new update as it only showcased minute tweaks within the game which is contrary to what they are anticipating.

Updates are getting pretty hard to come by for "Pokemon GO" nowadays. This made fans of the game grew longing even more and are expecting that a major update will be gracing the mobile app. However, last Jan. 17, the new patch that was shelled out by the developer only featured minor enhancements to the game that made most players frustrated and irked about it.

As per the patch notes posted on Niantic's website, the game tweak just updated Apple Watch's ability to make eggs more visible on the wearable when it is acquired from PokeStops. Aside from the text fixes that are also included in the said patch, distance tracking was also enhanced which has been one of the concerns of some players.

For those who are fairly new to the game, the character tends to move quite a bit within the game while there are some cases that the player's character jumps around the map. This is due to the satellite feed getting haywired resulting to the character situated at different points on the map even though the player is stationary.

Data miners, on the other hand, dug deeper into the 0.53.1 APK patch of the game and unearthed interesting finds. They have discovered that new moves will soon be added into the game. In fact, a total of 38 of these have been found alongside their respective graphical assets, The Silph Road has learned.

Moreover, miners also dug up "evolution items" that are essential to specific classes of Pokemons. New forms for the Pokemon Unown were also found in the said APK suggesting that future updates will see more of Unown's many shapes and sizes.

The APK version also stashed in new avatar customization items and new codes for shiny Pokemons and even their gender. Other features that were found include debugging tools, future sponsors of the game, and even updates for gym radius interaction.
