Players who were able to buy the upcoming "Resident Evil 7" game early have begun spoiling some of the game's elements. One of these include the difficulties included in the game.

The game will feature three game difficulty levels: Casual, Normal and Madhouse, according to This Gen GamingEach of the settings have unique features that cater to a wide variety of gaming styles and experience.

Playing the Casual difficulty will give players fast regenerating health as well as more frequent checkpoints and unlimited saves. The enemy attacks deal little damage and its AI does not have much intelligence, making them slower and manageable to fight with. It is perfect for players not familiar with horror FPS games, or those who do not like stressing themselves out.

The Normal difficulty gives players less checkpoints, less health regeneration rate, and increased enemy damage, speed, and intelligence. However, the difficulty level still has unlimited saves, making it an optimal gaming experience for both new and experienced players alike.

The Madhouse difficulty gives no checkpoints to the players, and their health does not regenerate at all. The players can only save whenever they find cassette tapes similar to the ink ribbons found in the previous "Resident Evil" games.

As for the enemies, their damage output and their movement speed are greatly increased while getting special attacks only available while playing this mode. The AI for the enemies are vastly intelligent, making it difficult for players to hide away or escape.

Also, the Madhouse difficulty could be a tempting level for veteran players to start with since the retro save mechanic as well as other returning features make "Resident Evil 7" much closer to the true core of the survival horror game that made it great, according to Game RantThis is despite the fact that the game switched to a first-person viewpoint and a limited focus on action.

"Resident Evil 7" will be released on Jan. 24 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Here is the latest trailer video for the game.
