Aside from the Rangers, their holographic mentor and guide Zordon (Bryan Cranston) is spotted in the new teaser. His robot assistant Alpha 5 (Bill Hader) is also in the video boasting its new look.

Rita Repulsa (Elizabeth Banks) can also be seen doing more action this time around. It also showcased her rock-like horde of soldiers known as the Putty Patrollers as they rose from the ground ready to create more destruction in the small town of Angel Grove.

Latter parts of the clip also previewed the massive golden monster that is believed to be Goldar. He can be seen being challenged by the Dinozords that would later on form to become the Rangers' most powerful weapon in their arsenal, the Megazord.

The first teaser of the film reboot premiered at the New York Comic-Con in October 2016, Polygon reported. However, the trailer only provided subtle details about the movie including the Rangers' new look and its story plot.

Meanwhile, in a statement acquired by Movie Web, franchise creator Haim Saban said that Lionsgate is the best-suited launchpad for "Power Rangers." The said production outfit has the perfect machinery and tools that would make the film a sure hit just like what it did to the "Twilight" and "The Hunger Games" film series, he added.

"Power Rangers" is said to be followed up by a couple more installments in the coming years. Watch the new trailer of Lionsgate's new film that is slated to be released this March 24 here:
