Here is the latest information on the arrival of Android 7.0 Nougat and 7.1.1 Nougat updates for Motorola smartphones.
According to the official Motorola blogpost, the Lenovo owned company would be releasing Nougat update to the following devices:
Moto G (4th Gen)
Moto G Plus (4th Gen)
Moto G Play (4th Gen)
Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen)
Moto X Style
Moto X Play
Moto X Force
Droid Turbo 2
Droid Maxx 2
Moto Z
Moto Z Droid
Moto Z Force Droid

Moto G4, G4 Plus, G4 Play Android 7.0 Nougat
The Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus started receiving Nougat update with version NPJ25.93-11 in December 2016. It became available first to users in India. The update is slowly coming to Moto G4 and G4 Plus users in other regions.
Telus will be releasing Nougat update for Canadian Moto G4 Plus in the next month. As far as Moto G4 Play Nougat update is concerned, it is speculated to receive by the end of this month, Gizbot reported.
Moto Z, Z Force, Z Play Android 7.0 Nougat
In November, owners of Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid (Verizon variants of Moto Z and Z Force) started receiving Android N update. The unlocked Moto Z is expected to get Android N in February whereas Moto Z Play is expected to receive it In March in Canada.
However, its unlocked variant is expected to receive it as early as later this month or February. There is no information available on when Verizon will be releasing the latest Android version to Moto Z Play Droid users.
Moto X Pure Edition aka X Style, X Play, X Force Android 7.0, 7.1.1 Nougat
Moto X Pure Edition also known as Moto X Style outside the U.S. was spotted in December 2016 benchmarked with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. The Moto X Play was also seen with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on a benchmarking platform. It is expected to receive the update by the end of this month, The Android Soul reported. The Droid Maxx 2 is a Verizon exclusive edition of X Play.
The Bluetooth SIG certification that surfaced earlier this month reveals that Moto Droid Turbo 2 aka Moto X Force indicates 7.0 Nougat update is close at hand. Moto Droid Turbo 2 is the Verizon exclusive variant of Moto X Force. The update is expected to arrive by the end of this month or early in February to both the variants.
Moto M, Google Nexus 6 Android 7.0, 7.1.1 Nougat
The Moto M was launched in China in November 2016. Even though the exact time frame is unavailable, rumors indicate Android 7.0 Nougat for Moto M is arriving soon. The Google Nexus 6, a product made by Motorola is pegged to receive Android 7.1.1 Nougat in this month.
