Hong Kong filmmaker Roy Cho has started promoting his new fantasy suspense detective film, who has all praises in the performance of Han in this film.

"I've adapted the central character to be a younger and more fashionable guy. In real life, Han Geng is fashionable, but I particularly appreciate his eye contact, which makes him look peculiar," said Cho.

Actress Zhang Huiwen, veteran actor Zhou Xiaodong, and up-and-coming young actor Yin Zheng also appear in the film.

Han started his career in 2001 with SM Entertainment (SME) when he became a part of Super Junior, a South Korean boy band, which debuted in 2005.

In 2008, he later became the leader of its sub-group Super Junior-M in 2008.

He filed a lawsuit against SME on Dec. 21, 2009 to terminate his 13-year contract, which he said was unlawful, unfair, and overly restrictive.

He also revealed that he was refused to file a sick leave, which led to kidney illness, and forced to do things beyond his contract. From then on, Han went solo.

In 2008, he was chosen as a torch bearer for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and became an ambassador for the 2010 Asian Games and 2010 Shanghai Expo.

In late 2012, he started gaining international attention and won Nickelodeon's 2013 Kids' Choice Awards' "Favorite Asian Act" and 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards' "Best Worldwide Act."

Some of the movies where Han played the lead role include "Ever Since We Love" (2015), "Seek McCartney" (2015), "Sweet Sixteen" (2016), and "A Chinese Odyssey Part Three" (2016).
