Before the upcoming LG G6 launch at the MWC 2017 in February, the South Korean Company, LG Electronics, is adding another budget-friendly smartphone in its X series. The said mid-range smartphone will tap style and performance, which will be perfect for professionals and students.

LG has recently introduced its X300 handset as a new iteration on its X series. The smartphone will be sold solely in the South Korean market, and is pegged at a price of KRW 253,000 (roughly Rs. 14,800).

Specs-wise, the LG X300 is branded under the mid-range phone with good performance on its internals. According to NDTV, a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset can be found at the phone's core paired with Adreno 308 GPU, which is boosted by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB onboard internal storage that is expandable via microSD.

Outside, the LG X300 sports a 5-inch HD In-Cell Touch IPS curved glass display with 720X1080 pixels screen resolution.

In its camera department, LG X300 offers decent camera with 13-megapixel primary shooter and 5-megapixel front-snapper. The device also added photo shooting features such as Auto Shot and Gesture Shot, The Mobile Indian has learned.

Its Auto Shot feature allows the smartphone to automatically recognize a user's face when taking a self-portrait. On the other hand, the Gesture Shot feature enables the users to capture photo through a hand gesture using the front camera.

The LG X300 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat firmware with other connectivity schemes such as Wi-Fi (802.11 b, g, n), Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE support, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and micro USB connectivity.

In addition, the phone's design features a fine-ribbed back cover, which promotes better grip and usage. A 3.5mm headphone jack is also situated at the bottom of the phone, while its fingerprint sensor sits on the rear panel. The phone's dimensions are 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.09mm and weighs 142 grams. It houses a removable 2500mAh battery.

As of now, the phone is available at South Korea only with no word on when the smartphone will launch in international markets. It will also be available in two color variants, Silver and Dark Blue options.
