A talented kid impersonating singer and songwriter Taylor Swift in TV show "Your Face Sounds Familiar" has attracted the attention, not only of the viewers, but the foreign media as well.
"Your Face Sounds Familiar" contestant Xia Vigor has shown her star power on stage on last week's episode of the aforementioned show. Vigor went out on stage wearing a band uniform singing one of Taylor's biggest song "You Belong With Me". She marched the stage full of confidence and projected to the camera while mimicking Swift's signature moves on stage. Her make-up is also spot-on and thanks to her foreign features, many think that she really resembles the singer.
Her spot-on impersonation has caught the eye of celebrity blogger Perez Hilton who took notice of the video of Xia impersonating Taylor Swift that went viral over the weekend. Hilton then tweeted the video tagging Taylor Swift.
"This little girl doing @TaylorSwift13 is everything I needed right now!! The ending, though!! http://PerezHilton.com/TaylorSwift," the caption reads.
Thanks to Hilton's tweet, the story was picked up by several foreign media. Xia is currently enjoying a bit of international fame. Could this pave the way for her to go to Ellen? Who knows!
Xia Vigor is a Filipino-British young actress and TV host and the grand winner of "It's Showtime's" segment, Mini Me 2, where she impersonated Selena Gomez. Since then, she has become a co-host of the variety show and even has her own segment, Xia and Kuys.
