tvN has crowned a new ratings king. The fantasy hit drama "Goblin" has officially surpassed "Reply 1988" as the most-watched show in the premium cable network's history.

Also known as "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God," the 16-episode fantasy drama ended its run on Jan. 21, Saturday, with an impressive viewership share. Its final episode recorded viewership ratings of 20.5 percent and hit a peak of 22.1 percent, breaking the previous record posted by the 2015-2016 drama "Reply 1988," according to Nielsen Korea, as cited by All Kpop.

Extremely pleased with the positive reception, lead actor Gong Yoo thanked the viewers for loving "Goblin" until the end through a V app broadcast. In the clip, the 37-year-old actor admitted he felt a lot of pressure portraying the titular role since it was different from other characters he had played in the past.

"Since we received so much love and support from 'Guardian' viewers, we were able to finish the drama successfully," Gong added. "Now we're at the end, it's bittersweet on one hand, but I feel really good, too."

The Hallyu star then assured fans he will be back with other good dramas and movies. He added, "It was a lovely and great time."

As "Goblin" comes to an end, "Tomorrow With You" will officially take over tvN's Friday-Saturday timeslot starting Feb. 3, The Kpop Herald reported. The story will revolve around Yoo So Joon (Lee Je Hoon), a real estate CEO who can go through time by means of a subway, and his 30-year-old amateur photographer wife, Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah).

Due to the lead stars undeniable on-screen chemistry, the upcoming tvN series has been receiving the most buzz among other upcoming Korean dramas. It was written by Heo Sung Hye and directed by Yoo Je Won, whose previous projects include the hit 2015 drama "Oh My Ghostess."

Joining Lee and Shin in the "Tomorrow With You" cast are Kim Ye Won, Kang Ki Doong, Baek Hyun Jin, Park Ju Hee, Lee Jung Eun, Oh Gwang Rok, Chae Dong Hyun and Jo Han Chul. Check it out below:
