Negative Parental Reaction

There is no news yet about the reaction of Jason and Da Chuan’s parents about their coming out of the closet. However, for some Chinese gays, such as Peng from Sichuan Province, he could not repeat what the brave pair did or else he and his partner would likely be kicked out by their respective parents.

The dread is shared by single heterosexual Chinese. To solve their problem temporarily, some resort to renting a boyfriend or girlfriend on e-commerce sites, Washington Post reported. One 32-year-old bachelor from Liaoning Province kidnapped a woman and tried to convince her for two and a half hours to pretend to be his wife when he meets his parents. The man was eventually arrested and jailed.
