John Cena vs. The Undertaker is one of the dream matches the WWE universe wants to see. However, reports have surfaced that Vince McMahon has decided to cancel it for WrestleMania 33. It seems like that is the case as another report has confirmed the cancellation of the dream match.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer (subscription required) first reported that the WWE chairman has gone sour on the idea of a John Cena vs. The Undertaker match at WrestleMania 33. Vince has been changing his mind more frequently as events like the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania fast approaches.

The WWE chairman wants what's best for business and he thinks John Cena vs. The Undertaker is not one of them. All the signs are pointing towards different feuds for both superstars. Cena is busy with his title feud with A.J. Styles at the Royal Rumble.

On the other hand, The Undertaker has focused his attention on the Royal Rumble Match. He recently had a stare down with both Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg in this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

According to Cageside Seats, the WWE have already finalized the plans for Cena at WrestleMania and The Undertaker is not part of it. The report noted that the situation could become clearer right after the Royal Rumble on Sunday.

The WWE can go on a lot of different directions for both superstars at WrestleMania 33. Cena has been linked with a WWE championship match up with Samoa Joe. As for The Undertaker, he is one of the favorites to win the Royal Rumble Match.

If The Undertaker and Cena both win at the Royal Rumble PPV, they can face each other at WrestleMania. "The Deadman" can also challenge Roman Reigns, who is favored to win the Universal title from Kevin Owens.

However, one final concern for The Undertaker is his health. He reportedly needs another hip surgery after WrestleMania 33 which means the WWE has to be careful in selecting his opponent, per All Wrestling News.

This year's Royal Rumble event is one of the biggest and the most unpredictable in WWE history. However, with Vince McMahon changing his mind every day, there is a chance that he could revisit John Cena vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 33.
