The stage is set for Super Bowl LI with the New England Patriots installed as slight favorites over the Atlanta Falcons. With Matt Ryan looming as this season’s MVP, Tom Brady has other things in mind in a potential record-breaking Super Bowl LI triumph.

The Falcons clinched the NFC title Sunday over the Green Bay Packers (44-21) while the Patriot demolished the Pittsburgh Steelers (36-17) on the AFC side. Ryan and Brady are expected to lead their respective teams, a side-battle to determine who is the best quarterback and potential MVP of this NFL season.

Both teams hold strong cases to become the Super Bowl LI champion though the Pats are slight favorites according to SB Nation reported. Seeing how both teams rolling, all odds could be out the window when they collide in Houston on Feb. 5.

With a quiet but sizzling season, Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan will be a key figure. Admitting that he used to study Brady to get better, it may be the ultimate test to show how far he has come. Both faced off in 2009 and 2013 games which Brady holds over Ryan. Now, the stakes are higher as both battles to determine who really is the best quarterback for the season.

For Brady, winning another Super Bowl is the only thing likely in his mind. He is set to play in his seventh Super Bowl, already breaking a previous tie with Mike Lodish. If the Patriots pull through, Brady stands to benefit as well, installing the 39-year-old as perhaps the best NFL quarterback ever, Yahoo Sports reported.

But the Falcons didn’t work hard through the season to come short. Ryan has the same thing in mind and showing up Brady looms as the perfect ending for his 2016-17 NFL season. Both the Falcons and the Patriots seem evenly matched meaning the difference will likely depending on the players. Tom Brady and Matt Ryan will be at the forefront, hinting of an all-out war at the NGR Stadium in Houston, Texas in February.
