"Vikings" Season 4 finale airs Feb. 1. The fourth season of the History channel series comes to a close with episode 20 titled "The Reckoning." It is expected to reveal how The Great Army's battle against King Ecbert and his son Prince Aethelwulf concludes. Meanwhile, Episode 19 and Episode 20 have reportedly leaked through Russian media and spoilers are swirling around. Read on for the details.

According to the synopsis for "Vikings" Season 4 episode 20 (finale), The Great Army continue to move forward with their battle plan against King Ecbert as they seek revenge for Ragnar's death. Prince Aethelwulf finds himself subject to the Great Army's master plan. He realizes that he might be in danger. Meanwhile, Ecbert has a plan of his own to fight the battle.

In the meantime, International Business Times is reporting that "Vikings" Season 4 episode 19 (penultimate) and episode 20 (finale) leaked through Russian media before its television broadcast on its official channel. The website reports that Reddit user named FaZe Hnefataf broke the news. According to the website, the final two episodes are available online in Russian language. However, English subtitles are yet to be released.

In addition, Sivertimes has revealed what happens in "Vikings" Season 4 episode 20 (finale). According to the website, The Great Army succeeds in crushing Prince Aethelwulf's army and attacks Wessex. Bjorn takes mercy on King Ecbert and lets him live. Later, however, King Ecbert commits suicide.

Meanwhile, the website notes, one of the most difficult scenes of "Vikings" Season 4 episode 20 (finale) involves Helga getting stabbed by Tanaruz.

The tension and power play between the brothers continue. It results in Sigurd's murder at the hands of Ivar The Boneless. Sigurd Snake-in-the-eye is not the only one to die in Season 4 finale, the report suggests.

Fans can expect the death of other important characters as well, as confirmed by "Vikings" showrunner Michael Herst. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Herst said that "death comes to important people" in the final two episodes.

Also, "Vikings" Season 4 finale (episode 20) will reportedly end with an introduction of a new character, played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He is said to be playing a medieval bishop named Heahmund.  

The promo video for "Vikings" Season 4 episode 20 (finale) is yet to be released. It is expected to be out after the broadcast of episode 19 airing on Jan. 25. Stay tuned, it will be updated here.
