Microsoft is set to expand its lineup of Xbox One S bundles and it recently made announcements of the two new ones, themed around "Halo Wars 2" and "Forza Horizon 3." The $350 "Halo Wars 2" Ultimate Edition Bundle with be brought forth accompanied with a 1TB console.
In addition, "Halo Wars 2" will be accompanied with a copy of the RTS sequel's Ultimate Edition, as well as a 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial membership. The bundle will be sale on Feb. 17, perhaps this is when the Ultimate Edition unlocks and the game's official release date is set for Feb. 21.
As for the Forza bundle, Microsoft is giving offers of 500GB ($300) and 1 TB ($350) versions that will come with a download code for "Forza Horizon 3" and a 14-day Xbox Live Gold membership. The availability of the 1 TB system is now through the Microsoft Store and some US retailers. This is meant to come to other markets beginning on Feb. 7.
According to Game Spot, the "Halo Wars 2" and "Forza Horizon 3" Xbox One S bundles have made additions to Microsoft's existing lineup of bundles. They currently include those themed around "Battlefield 1," "Gears of War 4," "Halo 5," "Minecraft," "Madden NFL 17," and "FIFA 17," among others.
The Xbox One S rolled out last summer and led to it posing 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One and comes with an internal power supply. The included controller features textured grips, improved wireless support, and Bluetooth. The console also features HDR and 4K support, The Verge reported.
"Halo Wars 2" has made offers for a new look at the RTS genre; a hybrid of action-oriented and classic tactical gameplay. The action is set to take place on the biggest Halo battlefield ever bringing armies of Spartans.
The Banished with varying levels of gameplay complexity, "Halo Wars 2" is truly the RTS for everyone, created for both newcomers to RTS and strategy-genre veterans. One exciting upcoming features of Halo Wars 2 is the new Blitz mode, a hybrid card-collecting strategy game with Firefight and PvP modes.
