These job positions include a Head of Narrative Development, Narrative Director, and Live Narrative Director, with the job description of the latter two directly focusing on creating narratives in the "Destiny" universe.

However, the most interesting position would be a Live Narrative Director as it states that the successful candidate “will direct the storytelling efforts for regular, small-scale "Destiny" releases throughout the calendar year,” which could suggest that potential smaller free updates for "Destiny 2" could have more of a narrative focus than the first game, instead of just the main game and subsequent paid-for expansions.

The first "Destiny" game lacked the embedded narrative content which is missing for the gamers playing the game. Although there is a rich lore outside of the "Destiny" gameplay itself, and compelling content outside of game's proper through the use of ARGs, some have felt that things have been left a little bare when it come to the actual main title, Gamerant reported.

It is hinted that the setting for "Destiny 2" will likely take the sequel into Mars. Bungie removed a significant part of "Destiny: The Taken King", which plays in the vast space of Mars. If it happens, gamers will expect a familiar connection between the sequel and "The Taken King" expansion.

Gaming fans have complained about "Destiny" having small and lifeless environments due to the small server sizes and heavy instancing, which is very hard to find other players organically. The succeeding DLCs like "House of Wolves" and "The Taken King" attempted to freshen up the open-world experience for "Destiny, but it’s clear that the fundamental foundation was holding things back.

In other news, gaming fans want certain changes within "Destiny 2" as gamers want to get rid of the Engrams, improved Exotic/Legendary system, new gear sets, and reconsidering Node unlocking, Forbes reported.

Other changes that gamers want in "Destiny 2" is adding a a dialogue choice system as it will lead gamers to have more interactive conversations with other players. Dialogue choices are extremely common in RPGs, and they have recently started to show up other games genres such as "Uncharted 4" and "Titanfall 2".

There is no release date yet for "Destiny 2".
