"Game of Thrones" actor Will Tudor joins the cast in Freeform's original series "Shadowhunters" Season 2. Sebastian is teaming up with the cast of angelic demon hunters.
According to Deadline, Tudor's character Sebastian will debut as a recurring guest star in the second half of "Shadowhunters" Season 2. He is described as a charming, brilliant, and highly educated Shadowhunter with unrivaled fighting abilities, making him a real boon to the existing team.
In "Shadowhunters," Sebastian's real name is Jonathan Christopher Fairchild Morgenstern. Originally from the original London Institute, he finds his way to a safehouse for the hunters and other need folk called the New York Institute after befriending one of the show's main characters. He is one of the first experiments of Valentine Morgenstern ("Immortals" actor Alan Van Spring).
"Shadowhunters" is based on Cassandra Clare's YA novel series "The Mortal Instruments," Variety reported. It follows newly initiated Shadowhunter Clary Fray ("Maze Runner" actress Katherine McNamara), who discovers her heritage as a human-angel hybrid who hunt demons on her 18th birthday. Once she finds out that she is not who she thinks she is, fellow hunters Jace Wayland ("Vampire Academy" actor Dominic Sherwood). Isabelle Lightwood ("Tattooed Love" actress Emeraude Toubia), Alec Lightwood ("Cabin Fever" actor Matthew Daddario), and his new best friend Simon Lewis ("Jahar" actor Alberto Rosende) helps her in navigating the world only just revealed to her, full of faeries, warlocks, vampires, werewolves, and demons.
In the plot of "Shadowhunters," nothing is as it seems. Fray's close friend Luke Garroway ("Horrible Bosses" actor Isaiah Mustafa) turned out to be a werewolf. The enigmatic warlock Magnus Bane ("Glee" actor Harry Shum Jr.) has surprisingly become an ally in the search for her past.
Constantin Film is producing "Shadowhunters." The executive producers are Todd Slavkin, Darren Swimmer, Matt Hastings, Mary Viola, McG, Michael Reisz, Martin Moszkowicz, and Robert Kulzer.
Tudor is popularly known as "Game of Thrones" as the spy Olyvar. He is also recognized from "Humans" or "Mr. Selfridge." He is charming, has a great accent, and can probably pull of his role in his sleep.
"Shadowhunters" is currently in the midst of its Season 2. It airs Mondays at 8 p.m ET on Freeform.
