Just days before Infinity Ward releases the first downloadable content for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare," the developer has recently released a new update that brought in quite a number of fixes for the title. Add-ons such as new missions will also be included in the new patch adding more reasons for it to be played by its fanbase.

Patch 1.08 went live on Jan. 27 and was made available to both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update will eat up at least 2GB of the console's memory space, though size will be dependent on the platform used.

The latest game tweak also brought forth the Hyper Team Deathmatch where the payload recharge speed was upped to a whopping seven times its normal rate. Thus, an item/weapon during the skirmish can be safely assumed to be popping up every 30 seconds or even less. Moreover, the event began last Jan. 27 and will run until Feb. 3.

Experience points will also be doubled on both characters and weapons during the aforementioned time frame and players are now advised to stack up those experience points during that period. In addition, the Call of Duty World League Personalization Pack and a medal section for the game's barracks are also part of the patch's new content, Charlie Intel has learned.

As abovementioned, bug fixes were also chipped which include workarounds for weapon camos, glitches in some game maps, and even weapon balances. Aside from these, "Infinite Warfare's" first game expansion is all set to be released on Jan. 31.

Dubbed as "Sabotage," the content will be first laid to PS4 players and will contain four new multiplayer maps namely Dominion, Noir, Renaissance, and Neon. Also, the protagonists in the "Zombies in Spaceland" mini-game will be back in "Rave in the Redwoods" where the characters are up for another round of whacking unlimited waves of undead horde, according to Attack of the Fanboy.
