The South Korean hit film "The Beauty Inside" will be remade for the American market. The romantic comedy film, which was released in August 2015, starred Han Hyo-Joo, Kim Dae-Myung, Do Ji-Han, Bae Sung-Woo and Park Shin Hye.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that "The Beauty Inside" has been picked up by FOX 2000 for $2 million, beating out other major companies that include Universal Studios, Lionsgate, Sony, New Line Cinema and STX, Deadline reported. Based on the 2012 social film, "The Beauty Inside" follows a man who awakens in a different body every day. In spite of this hindrance, he tries his hardest to stay connected to the woman he loves.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series "Game of Thrones," has been tapped to play the leading lady in the American reboot. However, news of the shapeshifters identities' role has yet to be announced. More details about it will be revealed soon.

Besides "The Beauty Inside," Clarke also has a couple of upcoming projects, including "The Guns of August," "The Woman with Red Hair" and the as-yet-untitled Han Solo Anthology film. She will also be starring opposite Marton Csokas in the upcoming horror movie "Voice From the Stone."

In the film, Clarke plays as Verena, a nurse who is in charge of a young boy (Edward Dring) that has fallen silent since the sudden death of his mother. As she struggles to aid him, the heroine finds herself submerged into the château's hidden secrets.

"We're excited to bring this amazing film to the big screen," Variety quoted Momentum Pictures' senior VP of content Ian Goggins as saying at the 2016 American Film Market. "Emilia has proven to be a versatile actor from her dominant role in 'The Game of Thrones' to her quirky, yet lovable character in 'Me Before You.' We're confident that her legion of fans will follow her in her new role in 'Voice in the Stone.'"
