The third season of "The Flash" will feature the return of several familiar faces that includes Robbie Amell who appeared in Season 2 of the CW superhero series. Recently, the actor shared some interesting information about his character Ronnie's impending guest appearance.

Amell's "The Flash" character was one of the unique personalities on the CW show who was given several personas. Appearing as Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) husband who became the metahuman Firestorm, as well as the evil Earth-2 doppelganger named Deathstorm, all of the actor's characters already died on the series.

However, an upcoming "The Flash" Season 3 episode will feature Amell's return to TV show. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly during the recently held "Hockey Goes Hollywood" event, the "Tomorrow People" star shared that some of his character's scenes were with Barry (Grant Gustin) and Caitlin.

The actor also gushed over his "The Flash" co-star Panabaker whom he described as a "sweet" lady. Recounting his previous guest appearance in the CW show, Amell commented that finally had the chance to shoot a scene with Gustin.

Amell added, "The only time he and I had a scene that was just the two of us, I was Stein at the time, I was pretending to be Victor Garber. So it was cool to have a real scene with Grant."

Despite sharing some of his recent filming experiences, Amell declined to reveal whether the Ronnie that viewers will soon see will be part of a flashback scene or if the scarlet speedster will visit another timeline with different version of Firestorm. However, the actor teased that his character "may or may not be alive" in the said episode.

In other news, "The Flash" Season 3 episode 11 will introduce a new adversary who will force Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to hone his powers and explore his fighting capabilities. Cisco will try to stop Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) from taking H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) back to Earth-19 to face his crime of illegally traveling to another dimension.

In an interview with TVLine, showrunner Aaron Helbing described Cisco's new foe as a "bada--" multi-dimension bounty hunter. With a more developed Vibe ability, Gypsy will be someone who might unleash Cisco's full potential.

"The Flash" Season 3 airs every Tuesday on the CW. Watch the upcoming episode's teaser clip below:
