The listing on FCC has also revealed a sketch of the rear side of the device that shows a presence of camera. The FCC ID is placed at the bottom part of the tablet on the rear. The Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to arrive in two CPU variants.

One of the variants will be powered by Snapdragon 820 chipset and the other one would be running on Exynos 7420 chipset. The Galaxy Note 5 that was released in 2014 is also powered by the same SoC. Both the processors are coupled with 4 GB of RAM.  The tablet will be arriving with a 9.7-inch display that would carry 2,048 x 1,536 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab S3 will be featuring a native storage of 32 GB out of which it will provide 24 GB of storage space to the users. The rear camera of the tablet is expected to be of 12-megapixel whereas its selfie camera will be of 5-megapixel. The rear snapper is coupled with LED flash. The tablet would be arriving preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and it is pegged to include a USB Type-C port.

Several snaps of the tablet had appeared in June 2016 which indicated that it would be announced at the IFA 2016 event in September, Phone Arena reported. It is rumored that the Galaxy Tab S3 release was canceled last year because of the Galaxy Note 7 debacle that happened in September. Leaked information that has been consistently surfacing from the last quarter of 2016 hint that the tablet would be announced in the first quarter of this year. Hence, the tablet is speculated to get announced at MWC 2017.
