The premiere of MBC's "Brother's Thoughts" was packed with huge revelations. Famous for his serious on-screen characters, it will be really hard for anyone to believe that Yoon Kyun-Sang, 29, also has a naughty side to him.
In an interview with "Brother's Thoughts," Park Shin Hye revealed that Yoon has a naughty side to him which no one knows about. The two actors have built a great bond after starring in 2014-2015's "Pinocchio" and 2016's "Doctors."
"This older brother (oppa) secretly enjoys a little bit of adult entertainment occasionally," Park revealed. Her words made everyone on the set laughed except for the actor who protested that it is not like that.
Jokes apart, Park has gushed about working with Yoon, insisting that the latter is charming for someone his size and is the first male actor who dreams of having a bromance with actresses. She added, "He treats me like a younger brother instead of a younger sister."
As per Yoon, he chose to treat the actress as a younger brother after she turned down his love in the SBS medical drama "Doctors." In the 20-episode drama, the actor played Jung Yoon-Do who has an unrequited love on Yoo Hye-Jung (Park).
Currently, Yoon star opposite Chae Soo-Bin in "Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People." In the MBC drama, he plays the titular character, Hong Gil-Dong, the first revolutionist and dissident extremist in Joseon.
At the press conference for the MBC drama, Yoon opened up about how he feels about his first leading role, Soompi reported. He admitted he is both thrilled and nervous to star in a 30-episode historical drama, stating his worries about how to effectively portray the titular character.
This comes after producing director (PD) Kim Jin-Man revealed why he decided to cast Yoon. The biggest reason why he chose the latter was from watching him on "Three Meals a Day."
"He was such an innocent youth, kind of like an adult-sized baby," Korean newsoutlet Sports Donga quoted PD Kim as saying. "He had the kind of image I was looking for to reflect the early stages of a hero who is just beginning his journey."
