NBA trade rumors concerning DeMarcus Cousins of Sacramento Kings seemed to be unending. After a series of denials, another NBA rumor surfaced pointing to Phoenix Suns as a potential trade destination along with an interesting trade deal.

NBA rumors now suggest that a trade discussion has already commenced between the Kings and Suns for the future of Cousins. The Suns are willing to trade small forward T.J. Warren, center Alex Len, and the team's 2017 first-round draft pick whoever it may be, according to Arizona Sports.

The 26-year-old Cousins is currently averaging a career-high 28.2 points per game along with 10.5 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks. Thus, making him one of the highly sought front court players in the league today. However, despite the achievement and credits associated to Cousins, his team has not yet reached the playoffs ever since he started playing for it.

One of the reasons seen for such lack of overall team improvement is the temper of Cousins. The center player and Kings' main man is known in the league for his short temper and various antics, which somehow translated into 105 technical fouls during six-plus years in the NBA.

On the other hand, another factor being viewed affecting the performance of Cousins is his ability to relate to his coaches. In retrospect, Cousins had some tense relationship with some of his previous coaches, including George Karl. In the past, Cousins was even given a one-game suspension after he yelled at one of his coaches.

As viewed by many, the transfer of Cousins to another management might unleash the full potential of his game while playing along with another team's key players. A change of scenery might lessen Cousins tense relationship with the management, and the Suns could be the potential answer together with its offering of $200 million worth of contract including extension.

In order to make such deal smooth and possible, the Kings would require "high-level" piece in return, according to Sports Illustrated. Warren and Len should therefore be reinforced by a good, if not the best 2017 first-round draft pick for the Kings to deal Cousins.
