HIV/AIDS cure has been discovered in Nigeria by a university professor. This latest medical breakthrough boasts of an extensive cure that reaches all cells in the body, including those hard to reach areas by current HIV treatment.

The Vice Chancellor of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Prof. Francis Otunta, has confirmed that a new drug that could treat and cure HIV/AIDS has been discovered by one his university professors. According Otunta, Prof. Maduike Ezeibe made the breakthrough after thorough research.

Ezeibe, who is a professor of Veterinary Medicine and Clinical Virology, primarily made use of Aluminum Silicate and Magnesium Silicate (Synthetic Aluminum-Magnesium Silicate) to create wonder drug. Together with the university, he plans to proceed with mass production of the drug for further clinical trials on persons living with HIV/AIDS in the country.

Prof. Ezeibe further explained that during research volunteers were given daily doses of Medicinal Synthetic Aluminum-Magnesium Silicate. As part of the process, volunteers were subjected to monthly tests for viral loads and CD4-lymphocyte counts, which helped in determining the effect of the drug.

"They were treated daily with the Medicinal Synthetic Aluminum-Magnesium Silicate (50 mg/kg). With the antiviral effects of the medicine, its ability to reach all cells (as nanoparticles) and the lymphocytes, there is no more hiding place (sanctuary) for HIV," Vanguard Nigeria quoted Ezeibe as saying.

This would not be the first time that a news of HIV/AIDS medical breakthrough has been reported from the African continent. In retrospect, an herbal-based medicine that could inhibit the replication of HIV was also developed from Kenya.

The Tian Immunity Booster (TIB), was invented by Professor Tian Shengxu, according to UNAIDS. It is now registered under Kenyan Ministry of Health and has undergone a thorough examination from Freiburg University in Germany and Biological Mimetics Incorporated in Maryland State.
