"Grand Theft Auto Online" fans who are still playing the title on their PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 were given a heads up by Rockstar that they are about to put a halt on character transfers on the aforementioned platforms. The developer is now giving a generous amount of leeway time to those players, though most of them are irked about it.

In a statement posted on Rockstar's website, it mentioned that they are heading towards the current consoles in the market as they are about to rollout "GTA V's" "definitive version" that will boast across-the-board improvements both technically and graphically.

Furthermore, a video editor will be included in the mix for players who want to have a touch of cinematic approach to their game. "GTA Online" will also be getting quite an overhaul as it will let players gain access on new vehicles not to mention its previously released DLC's and updates.

Rockstar has given players until March 6 to transfer their saved data to a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or PC. Otherwise, such will no longer be possible. Meanwhile, the developer also made it known that "GTA Online" is offering huge discounts on weapons, vehicles, and even offices to haul up players' status in the game.

These sweet deals kicked off last Jan. 31 and will run until Feb. 13 so there is still plenty of time to stack up on those essential commodities. The items and properties that were put on a special discount are the executive offices and vehicle warehouses that are currently on a 50 and 25 percent discounts respectively.

A 25 percent discount will also be enjoyed by players on weaponized vehicles like the turreted limo, the Buzzard attack helicopter, and even the Cargobob. The same thing goes with the Osiris, the Diabolus bike, vehicle cosmetic mods, and weapons. Los Santos Customs, on the other hand, offers 50 percent off on bullet proof tires and car armor and 25 percent on cosmetic mods, VG24/7 has learned.
