"I'll love to go into that WWE and have a real knock. Let one of them have a real knock and see what's what," McGregor told MMA Fighting in an interview. He further revealed that while he has already turned down a number of offers from the wrestling promotion, but there is still mutual interest between them in regards to working together.

With WrestleMania 33 fast approaching, it will not come as a surprise if McGregor made an appearance at "the grandest stage of them all." Other UFC fighters have made appearances at prior iterations of the event including former champions Ronda Rousey and Brock Lesnar, with the latter even highly likely to fight at the event.

McGregor notably performed WWE CEO Vince McMahon's iconic "billionaire strut" following his historic dethroning of then UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez in UFC 205. Since McGregor performed the move, a number of athletes across all disciplines have begun doing it themselves. McGregor has admitted that he believes McMahon is not happy with this, although he did not seem to mind after he described the WWE CEO in addition to his promotion's roster as p*ssies.

McGregor is currently on hiatus from the UFC due to expecting his first child later on in the year. However, once he returns to the Octagon he already has quite the challenge lined up for him, after former middleweight champion Anderson Silva has expressed his desire to fight him. If the bout were to happen, both fighters would likely meet in the middle in terms of weight and fight at 170 pounds.

Silva stated that his intention for fighting McGregor was not because he has a disdain for the Irishman, Fox Sports reported. In fact, Silva revealed that he respects McGregor and would simply relish the opportunity to go toe to toe with him some day.
