After Disney gave a glimpse of their upcoming buccaneer-laden sequel - "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" in October 2016, it just released a new trailer for the film confirming the return of the franchise's well-loved characters. The new teaser also boasted new scenes from the film that is expected to take quite a chunk in the box office this 2017.

The new video was shown during Super Bowl LI as it featured the return of the rum-loving captain of the Black Pearl - Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). Joining Depp is Orlando Bloom who will be reprising his role as Will Turner who is now the captain of the infamous Flying Dutchman.

The pegged-legged Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) is also set to return together with new characters added in the mix. Such character includes the film's ghostly nemesis, Capitan Salazar (Javier Bardem) who managed to break free from the Devil's Triangle in search of the mythical Trident of Poseidon that he will use in wiping out the entire pirate population.

Early on in 2016, it was also confirmed that The Beatle's Sir Paul McCartney is also slated to be spotted in a massive set-piece scene in the inbound sequel. As of late, details about the legendary musician's role is still undisclosed, though it is said that it was an extra scene especially made for McCartney's role, Deadline has learned.

Moviegoers might recall that an equally legendary music icon - Rolling Stones' Keith Richards, assumed a special part in 2011's "On Stranger Tides" as Jack Sparrow's dad, Captain Teague. It is also said Jack's peculiarity were somewhat taken from the guitarist.

Meanwhile, another element that was noticeable in the trailer was its choice of music. The teaser used Johnny Cash's "Ain't No Grave" which is quite fitting for the one-minute clip, according to Collider. It is noteworthy to mention that 20th Century Fox's forthcoming "Logan" also used Cash's haunting rendition of "Hurt" from industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails that in a way helped the film grew to become one of the anticipated films albeit its R rating.
