Cleveland Cavaliers' LeBron James and National Basketball Association great Charles Barkley is currently having a basketball beef after the latter said that the former does not want to compete by wanting to acquire players. Despite a bad history with James, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is siding with 'King James.'

Green told Mercury News that he is "all for destroying Barkley" after James unloaded on the TNT analyst. He added that Barkley talks a lot for someone who has not won an NBA championship and said that only Shaquille O'Neill, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson should be the only commentators who should talk about champions like James.

The feud started when Barkley criticized James who told the press that the Cavaliers need a playmaker. Barkley said that 'The King' has a lot of help by having Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert and added that James is "whiny."

James countered my enumerating the bad things Barkley had been involved in, including spitting on a kid, having unpaid debt in Las Vegas and not showing up in the All-Star Weekend because of being busy partying in Vegas. The reigning NBA champ added that he has done everything to represent the NBA the right way and he will not let anyone, not even Barkley, disrespect his legacy, CBS News reported.

Although Barkley has cleared in an episode of "Inside the NBA" that all of his comments were all basketball related, it did not prevent O'Neill from berating him that he does not know what it feels to go for back-to-back championships.

James and Green may be considered rivals as they had a heated exchange in Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals and their respective teams are touted to face once again for the title this season but on this one, Green had James' back.
