What we have so far about "Halo 6" release date are rumors and speculations. However, game developer 343 Industries assured that the highly anticipated game is underway, and its lauching info has been intertwined with a gaming console and the upcoming E3 event this year. 

Up to now, it is not clear when would the anticipated game sequel will be released. However, most fans are hopeful that such game will be launched during the upcoming E3 2017 event.  Such time frame for release also coincides with online reports pointing to the intertwined release of "Halo 6" to that of Microsoft's upcoming Xbox console.

However, such anticipation has by shattered by Xbox head Phil Spencer confirming that Microsoft's 2017 game line up won't be led by titles like Halo, according to Game Rant. Based on the report, the highly anticipated "Halo" game sequel will not be the launch title of Project Scorpio, and that the sequel won't be release this year.

However, fans are still banking on the teaser which was released by the game developer in 2016. Although not a direct confirmation, it was considered fans that the release of "Halo" game sequel is drawing near. In retrospect, game developer 343 Industries has managed to teased fans about "Halo 6" release through their trending "Mannequin Challenge" which was broadcasted online.

It was seen in the video that a certain transcript having the marks of the "Halo" sequel was being carried by an individual. Although lacking of further details, it was well assumed by fans that "Halo 6" will be released this year as discussed in Halo WayPoint.

Moreover, another reason why gamers are still banking for a game sequel release this year is that of the upcoming E3 2017 event this June. Many still believed that game developer could surprise fans during the said gaming event.
