"Avengers: Infinity War" is shaping up to become one of the biggest superhero movie event in history. The lineup of characters alone, which includes almost every character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is already colossal, but the story is reportedly going to be larger than any fans have seen.

From the early stages of the MCU up to Phase 3, Marvel has made it clear that the Earth is the central planet in the story, where elements from all corners of the universe meet and collide. Despite the fact that it features extra-terrestrial characters and gods, it is clear that Earth is home and home is where the action is. However, "Doctor Strange" introduced Marvel cinephiles to a larger expanse of the MCU, and these new worlds are going to be explored in "Avengers: Infinity War."

"Any time you turn that page on this script, you're kind of staggered, blown away, terrified by what's in front of you. I think rather like Doctor Strange, you'll find this film, it's not regurgitative, yeah? What I'm trying to say, is, there are many, many, many new worlds to see in this film," production designer Charles Wood told Comicbook about how "Infinity War" will expand the MCU as we know it.

For the most part, "Avengers: Infinity War" will also delve on the story of Thanos' journey from his unknown hideout to Earth as he attempts to gather all the Infinity Stones. What's more, if the theory on Peter Dinklage's character turns out to be correct, viewers may get the chance to see the planet of Nidavellir, which is home of Eitri, the King of the Dwarves.

The "Game of Thrones" star was spotted in New York in January having his hair dyed a particular shade of red, which led many fans to believe that he may have been cast to play Pip the Troll. According to CinemaBlend, Pip's speculated involvement in "Infinity Wars" makes sense because he once partnered with Thanos in the comics. Moreover, Pip was a key figure in the "Infinity War" arc in the comics.

"Avengers: Infinity War" will premiere in theaters on May 4, 2018.
