It seems that Will Byers will likely develop powers during the course of "Stranger Things" season 2 as ComicBook speculated that Will could have the same connection that Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) has on the the Upside Down world as the young boy could be psychic.

There is an image from the trailer that shows Will being brought to testing inside a lab similar as to how Eleven was being tested in season 1 along with his mother Joyce (Winona Ryder).

It is also speculated that Will could be predicting the future as he drew a giant monster on a sketch pad and seeing it in person outside of his house. While it could be debated whether Will was responsible for summoning it or some else did, either way, it is clear that Will's time in the Upside Down has left an imprint on him. Whether he can see through dimensions, move between them, or is simply having a nightmare, What's happening in Will's head will likely be of major importance.

Will Byers has been the source of numerous claims and speculations as he will have a huge role to play in season 2 of the hit Neflix series. It is rumored that Will could turn evil as cast member Noah Schnapp stated in an interview that his character will go crazy due to the traumatizing experience he had endured in the other side and will have a hard time adjusting to the real world.

In other news, "Stranger Things" season 2 could explore justice for the death of one of the characters in season 1, Barb (Shanon Purser).

Barb was Nancy Wheeler's (Natalia Dyer) frizzy haired, straightedge best friend. After Nancy abandons her during a late night get-together at Steve Harrington’s (Joe Keery) house, Barb is sucked into the Upside Down by the Demogorgon and was killed. Viewers were shocked by her death, which no one bothered to care about, and subsequently launched online campaigns with the tagline “Justice for Barb”.

While the character has been confirmed dead in the show, fans are still rallying for some sort of tribute, and executive producer Shawn Levy has promised the "Stranger Things" team will pull through. Levy told Variety that Barb's memory will be honored in season 2.

"Stranger Things" season 2 debuts on Netflix in time for Halloween 2017.
