Despite her being a nominee as Best Actress at the Golden Horse Awards, Taiwanese actress Tiffany Hsu said she would not want to be part of third installment of “The Tag-Along.”
During a Lunar New Year event on Monday, Tiffany Hsu told the reason she would not be seen in the third installment is her character is not part of the timeline of the new movie. However, she eventually admitted that making the original and second installments of the horror film traumatized her that the actress would no longer accept horror film offers, Toggle reported.
Paranormal Experiences on the Set
It was not only the 32-year-old actress who had paranormal experiences on the set of “The Tag-Along” second installment. Tiffany Hsu shared that Rainie Yang, a Taiwanese singer and her co-star, felt sick and nauseous after he completed a scene. However, after he wore her amulet as protection from evil spirits, his discomfort was mysteriously gone.
In the second installment of “The Tag-Along,” shown in early 2016, Tiffany Hsu’s role was that of a spunky radio DJ who struggle to discover the mystery why her boyfriend, a property agent, disappeared, according to The New Paper. In 2015, she won the Best Supporting Actress award for portraying a lesbian in the TV drama “The Way We Were.”
Actor’s Third Eye
Another actor, River Huang, claimed he has a “third eye” and could feel the presence of ghosts. However, he did not share supernatural sightings he saw because it would only further scare Tiffany Hsu.
Instead of being seen in the third installment of “The Tag-Along,” Tiffany Hsu would appear in two movies. One is “Mu Ji Zhe” (The Witness) and the other is “Battle of Memories” which would both premiere in 2017. To help promote the two movies, the actress would travel between Taiwan and China.
