Kobe Bryant is enjoying the life after basketball and he continues to make it in the headlines. Despite some good news, there is also bad news for Bryant like some his memorabilia getting stolen at Lower Merion High School.

Suspects on Lower Merion High School Theft

Kobe Bryant memorabilia were stolen from Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania on Sunday. Numerous items were taken from the display case that included his jersey. The police released the surveillance video of the incident showing two suspects, per ABC News.

The suspects opened the exterior entrance to the building by force before one suspect disable the display case lock. They left through an exterior door before the police arrived around 7:30 a.m. For anyone with information regarding the suspects, you can call Detective Gregory Pitchford at 610-645-6236.

Trademark battle for "Black Mamba"

According to Forbes, Bryant is in the middle of a trademark battle with 47/72 Inc. regarding the use of "Black Mamba". The five-time NBA champion filed the trademark application in May 2016 as he plans to use it under his brand and business company Kobe Inc.

Bryant's camp is hoping that the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board will side with them in the battle for the "Black Mamba" name. It should be noted that Bryant has been calling himself "Black Mamba" since 2007.

Julius Randle still working out with Kobe Bryant

In an interview with The Vertical, Randle revealed that he is still working out with Bryant to help improve his game. He added that they have been in contact regularly whether it's about their personal lives or the game of basketball.

"He'll text me and talk to me too, whether it is congratulating me on my baby or going out to Orange County to work out with him. He's open, he's still there and he's available. I think, for me, that was bigger than anything," Randle said.

Kobe Bryant meets with Lakers President Jeanie Buss

A week after hiring Magic Johnson as the team advisor, Lakers president Jeanie Buss held a meeting with Bryant last week, per Lakers Nation. The report speculated that Buss asked Bryant about his opinion on what moves the Lakers should do to ensure the future.
