On Feb. 8, Wednesday, former T-ara member Hwayoung and her twin sister Hyoyoung featured on an episode of the tvN talk show "Taxi," during which they addressed the girl group's bullying scandal that took place five years ago. Now, a former T-ara staff member has come forward claiming that the twins are lying and pretending to be victims.

In 2012, Hwayoung left T-ara following reports claiming that she was being bullied by other members of the group, according to Hello Kpop. During the "Taxi" episode, Hwayoung and Hyoyoung opened up about the alleged bullying that took place within members of the group. Hwayoung said that they were all young and inexperienced at the time and the incident was something that could easily happen between a group of girls.

She also added that she shed a lot of tears over the controversy and also ended up losing a lot of weight because of it. The twin sisters broke down as they opened up about the bullying scandal on the talk show. However, a staff member is now claiming that the tears are just an act and that the twins are lying about what actually happened in 2012.

"I watched the sisters crying [on Taxi], the staff member said in a statement obtained by Koreaboo. "Hwayoung said what happened 5 years ago was nothing special. It's something that could happen easily amongst women? This isn't something that should have happened."

The staff member also noted that T-ara was not innocent, but the twin sisters were the problematic ones. The source also leaked text messages sent by Hyoyoung to Ahreum, who was the youngest member to join T-ara after the bullying scandal.

In her text messages, which have been authenticated by T-ara's former manager, Hyoyoung called Ahreum a "B****h" and threatened to beat her up and scratch her face. The staff member also spoke about Hwayoung's leg injury and said that while it was true that she did fall, she was discharged from the hospital with no serious injury.

The source revealed that even though there was no issue with her legs, she insisted on going to another hospital to get a cast for her injury and would often pretend to be hurt and ask her manager to help her walk in front of the cameras. The staff member also noted that when the group travelled to Japan for promotions, Hwayoung skipped rehersals due to her leg injury and would go to get her nails done while the others were busy rehearsing.
