With Valentine's Day just around the corner, many individuals have already begun preparations for a romantic event with their loved ones. Recently, a survey revealed who among South Korean actors such as Gong Yoo, Park Bo Gum, Song Joong Ki and more would be an ideal date for the upcoming annual heart's day.

Around 2,050 female respondents were asked to pick their ideal Valentine's Day partner where Gong became a popular choice. The "Goblin" actor gained 20 percent of the respondents' votes, according to PMI, as cited by South Korean news outlet Xports News.

Gong has captured the hearts of many fans given his portrayal of the titular immortal character in "Goblin." After a successful 16-episode broadcast, the "Train to Busan" actor's popularity further skyrocketed with the South Korean celebrity receiving several endorsement deals.

Meanwhile, Park was also chosen as an ideal Valentine's Day date having nabbed the second spot on the PMI survey. The "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" star received 12 percent of the votes, followed by Song where 8.1 percent of the respondents chose the "Descendants of the Sun" actor.

Another "Goblin" star also made it to the survey's top five list with Lee Dong Wook at fourth place, while veteran South Korean actor Kang Dong Won landed at number five. Lee and Kang received 7.8 percent and 7.3 percent of the respondents' votes, respectively.

In other news, Gong's former co-star Lee is set to embark on a fan meeting tour that will take him to several Asian countries. In a recent announcement released by Lee's agency, as obtained by Korea Herald, the entertainment firm revealed the first leg of the actor's special fan event series.

The "My Girl" star will jumpstart his 2017 fan meeting with a meet-and-greet session to be held at Seoul's Blue Square Samsung Card Hall. The event, named "4 My Dear" is expected to include a special performance from the "Goblin" alum, as well as several fun activities.
