Sony is expected to release five smartphones at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017. Apart from the recently leaked Xperia XA2 smartphone, the Japanese company is speculated to announce Xperia XZ (2017) at the forthcoming unveil event.

Few days, blurred images of Xperia XA2 were spotted. Now, couple of smartphones have surfaced in more grainy photos. One of the photos contains four smartphones from Sony. Rumors suggest that one of the smartphones is the Sony Xperia XZ (2017) and alongside it is the current Xperia XZ smartphone that was released in September 2016, GSM Arena reported.

The rumor mill is also referring to Sony Xperia XZ (2017) as Xperia XZ2. The image also contains the Sony Xperia Z Ultra that features a 6.4-inch display. Going by sizes of these smartphones, it can be guessed that the Sony Xperia XZ2 will be bigger than its predecessor that features a 5.2-inch display. Other leaked shots suggest that Xperia XZ2 would be coming with 4 GB of RAM. Last year's Xperia XZ houses 3 GB of RAM.

According to Phone Arena's report from the previous month, Sony is rumored to announce up to 5 smartphones at MWC 2017. Sony Yoshino is the codename of the flagship smartphone from the company. It is pegged to arrive with a 5.5-inch display that would carry support for 4K resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels.

The device is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset and it is expected to arrive with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. The flagship phone is expected to come with Sony IMX 400 image sensor. Even though the rumor mill is expecting the unveiling of Sony Yoshino at MWC 2017, other rumors hint that the smartphone will not go on sale immediately, but it may release after some months.

Sony BlancBright is said to be an upper-midrange smartphone with 5.5-inch quad HD display. It is expected to feature Snapdragon 835 or 653 SoC along with 4 GB of RAM. It is also expected to house Sony IMX 400 image sensor. Sony Keyaki is expected to house a 5.2-inch full HD display, MediaTek Helio P20 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, 23-megapixel rear snapper and 16-megapixel selfie camera.

Sony Hinoki is said to include a 5-inch HD display, MediaTek Helio P20 SoC, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, 16-megapixel shooter and 8-megapixel selfie camera. No details are available on the specs of the rumored Sony Mineo phone, but it is expected to come with a pricing of around $350.
