It was confirmed that production started on a sequel to the highest-grossing animated movie of all time.

Once again, "Frozen" directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are on board. This prompted Disney stock to rise by $4.28 on the New York Stock Exchange to close at $107.17 on the same day "Frozen 2" film was confirmed. This is 25 percent up in 2014.

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios chief creative officer John Lasseter said, "We enjoyed making 'Frozen Fever' so much and being back in that world with those characters. Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck have come up with a great idea for a sequel."

On March 13, Friday, the seven-minute short film spinoff "Frozen Fever" opened for Disney's live-action film "Cinderella" in theaters.

Featured in the new track from "Frozen Fever" titled "Making Today A Perfect Day" are Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell reprising their roles as Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. The song tells the story of the two "Frozen" characters trying to plan a birthday party for Anna but Elsa is apparently under the weather.

"Dreams really do come 2!!! #FROZEN2 #itsofficial," tweeted Bell, who recently revealed to Us Weekly that her daughter with Dax Sheppard has yet to watch "Frozen."
