Readers can still recall in May 2016 when it was revealed to the world that the once known defender of good - Captain America, was an agent of the vile collective known as HYDRA. Such reveal transpired during the fateful events of "Civil War 2" where quite a number of heroes were wasted during the epic scuffle, according to The Verge.

This change of heart will now bring Marvel readers to the next big thing in the comic's history as the heroes will now discover that they are now pitted against Cap who has pledged his allegiance with HYDRA. Marvel's Tom Brevoort even depicted the upcoming event as the "pyrotechnics" as it will showcase massive matchups in its rich mythos.

Issue #0 will be out this April as Cap will be hailed as the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D. From there, the shield-wielding hero will begin to carry out his plans and one them is mobilizing HYDRA's extensive reach. By issue #1, the entire Marvel Universe will find out Cap's villainous plot and all of those who are close to the hero turned bad guy will be very much torn from such reveal, ABC News reported.

Fans who are now aware of the inbound series have noticed that the events that are about to happen may have been skillfully paralleled to what is going on with the U.S. as of late. Moreover, the hero Ulysses Cain's vision about Cap's tragic fate might come to fruition in this mini-series.
