"The Walking Dead" first half Season finale left fans begging for more with its traditional never-ending cliffhanger style. However, as the midseason premieres on Feb. 12, fans have lined up predictions based on the last eight episodes of Season 7.

The Season premiered with a shocking twist where Negan (Jeffery Dean Morgan), killed Abraham and Glenn. Later on, Rick and his gang were tormented under Negan's tyrannical rule throughout the 8 episodes. According to Oregon Live, the TV show needs to make Rick and his gang the heroes again and end the sadistic half season scandal in order to excite fans again.

In the midseason, Rick is expected to regain his charismatic leadership role. Fans were disappointed with his new attitude and how he had bowed to Negan's tormenting rule. The midseason finale left Rick and his gang reunited at the Hilltop, a sign that they would finally do something about Negan's oppression.

While things are expected to get better and captivate fans in the midseason of "The Walking Dead," Carl will seemingly lose himself. From the previous episodes in the half season, it was clear that something was wrong with the young survivor. Many speculate that Carl may just be our next Villain, Rolling Stone reported.

The first half of the Season unveiled new territories, all under Negan's suppression. The Kingdom and the secluded island owned by women might team up with Rick and the Hilltop to end Negan's brutal rule. This prediction is certainly unclear of whether Negan will be defeated by the end of this season or not.

The first half of the show left fans unsatisfied with Carol's loner attitude. The good wife-turned killer was hunted by her actions and chose to survive alone so that she would not have to kill again. Fans, however, speculate that she will snap out of her cocoon once she learns of the death of Glenn and Abraham.

Finally, there's lots of speculation around Negan's collection of walkers. Nobody knows for sure why he keeps them, but many predict that the horde of walkers has a purpose in the upcoming war between Rick and Negan's groups.

In the past, "The Walking Dead" has proven to capture fans attention by the use of its dramatic tactics. Whilst these are just predictions, the actual plot of the midseason shows will be unveiled very soon. Here is a clip of more predictions:
