In the survey of 2,000 Internet users, 65.1 percent of the respondents said that mobile phones were the domestic products that they trust the most. There are about 55.4 percent of them that placed their trust on space and aviation and 54.1 percent of them in domestic high-speed rail products.

China Youth Daily is the official newspaper and the first independently operated central government news media portal in the People’s Republic of China. It is one of the most influential newspapers with a circulation of 800,000 in readership.

Ten years ago, it is reported that the most reputable domestic products were small items such as shoes and clothing. In today's generation, this has changed as high-tech products have won a good reputation for good quality and low prices.

"The biggest change for domestic products is that they are not only cheap, but also display advanced technologies," said Wu Zhen, a Doctor at Tsinghua University.

Wu noted that he is currently using a Chinese brand smartphone, which is easy to use and is of good quality.

Sun Yu, a worker at a hospital in Henan Province, plans to buy a Haier washing machine. In his opinion, Chinese brands such as Huawei, Lenovo and Haier have won favor among foreign customers for their good quality and low prices.

Nearly 77 percent of the respondents suggest Chinese brands to focus on intellectual property rights and developing a core technology to do better in the future.

About 54.4 percent of the respondents said that innovation is the top priority of domestic products.
