"Destiny 2" is shaping up to be one of 2017's most anticipated titles, as gaming fans are eager to see it surpass the original "Destiny" to deliver on some of the promises that were made but went unmet in actual released game.

One of these new features is the development of an even more impressive cinematic story in "Destiny 2" as the gamers were complaining about the first game's lack of thrill and interest in its story. "Destiny‘s" story was gutted and rewritten in its last year of development, which led to a disconnected and jumbled mess of characters, story missions, and lore for fans to try to piece together.

However, Hirshberg stated that "Destiny 2" will have a "great" cinematic storyline which Bungie must focus on and teased memorable cast of characters in the sequel. Hirshberg statements appear to back up some small rumors surrounding "Destiny 2" as job postings from Bungie’s website speak of large and small scale story content, which also appears to support more comments from Hirshberg saying that there is a plan to continue to release new content regularly well into the lifespan of the sequel.

One of the rumored story plots for "Destiny 2" could be the Mega Bloks set which sets the scene for a Cabal invasion of the Tower. That event has never occurred in the first game and has led some to believe that it will happen in the game’s sequel, Gamerant reported.

There is also the possibility that "Destiny 2" could have a PC version as the first game did not launch in the PC platform, even a cross-generation launch for PlayStation and Xbox formats. If "Destiny 2" is indeed coming to home computers, then the next logical step for the series would be cross-platform play, at the very least between the PC and Xbox One.

Other changes that gamers want in "Destiny 2" is adding a a dialogue choice system as it will lead gamers to have more interactive conversations with other players. Dialogue choices are extremely common in RPGs, and they have recently started to show up other games genres such as "Uncharted 4" and "Titanfall 2".

Gaming fans expect to see "Destiny 2" to launch in the late 2017 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
