It is speculated that Heimdall (Idris Alba) had the Soul Stone and it was the key save Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) home world of Asgard from the apocalyptic event simply known as Ragnarok, ScreenGeek reported.

In other news, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) could have a new weapon in hand after the events of "Thor:Ragnarok" as the teaser production trailer for "Avengers: Infinity War" sees a concept art of both Thor and Rocket Raccoon (Bradlye Cooper) in the film.

The concept art feaured Rocket Raccoon and Thor Odinson fighting side-by-side confirming the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy team-up in "Inifnity War". What makes its interetsing is that eagle eyed viewers and comic fans noticed that the God of Thunder is wielding a different weapon rather than Mjolnir.

It theorized that this new weapon could be his battle axe Jarnbjorn, a weapon he used in his earlier days before he obtained Mjornir.

Other fans think that the weapon Thor is holding is the Ultimate Mjolnir from the Ultimate Marvel comics, an axe/hammer hybrid. The possible explanition for it is that the Mjolnir might be reforged into the axe/hammer hybrid which is probably after the events of "Thor: Ragnarok" film, ComicBook reported.

Previous reports hinted that "Thor: Ragnarok" will have a "Guardians of the Galaxy" feel as the story will go beyond earth and the nine realms.

Marvel President Kevin Feige stated that majority of "Thor: Ragnarok" will be on space and added that their are only three scenes on Earth. The big distinction between the cosmic side of Marvel and the rest of the nine realms is that the deep-space antics of the Guardians fo the Galaxy are still taking place within the cosmic universe of the MCU, whereas Asgard and its ilk are alternate dimensions reachable only through specific means like the rainbow bridge.

"Thor: Ragnarok" will feature Thor trapped in a planet which is hinted to be Sakaar and fight in a gladiator arena against Hulk as the fights are orchestrated by the Grandmaster (Jeff Goldblum). In his time in the arena Thor is forced to fight the Hulk, while he finds an ally in the form of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) in escaping Sakaar.

It is speculated that was responsible for putting Thor and Hulk on Sakaar with the help of Hela, the God of death (Emily Blunt). Thor, Loki, Hulk and Valkyrie will need to work together to stop Ragnarok and it is hinted that Soul Stone could be the key to preventing the apocalyptic event.

Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will also appear in the film as he helps Thor and Loki find their father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) on earth as he became a crazed homeless man and the only person capable of stopping Ragnarok.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be released in cinemas on Nov. 3.
