Swamp Thing in "Injustice 2" will definitely be no slouch when it comes to dishing out punishment against his opponents, as his massive frame and incredible strength allow him to deliver potent portions of damage to enemy combatants with just a few hits.

Interestingly enough, NetherRealm Studios decided to initially pit Swamp Thing against Damien Wayne/Robin , with the two trading a couple of lines of dialogue before the battle that mention Damian's grandfather, Ra’s al Ghul, the leader of the League of Assassins, hinting potentially plot within "Injustice 2's" plot, Gamerant reported.

Swamp Thing has been hinted by both NetherRealm Studios and gaming fans alike joining other DC heroes and villains like Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Supergirl, Blue Beetle, Robin, Black Canary, Deadshot, Harley Queen, Atrocitus, Gorilla Grodd and Darkseid.

The Flash,Bane, Poison Ivy and Braniac are also mentioned in "Injustice 2" via cinematic trailers and other potential DC characters like Captain Cold, John Constantine, Atom, Ra's al Ghul, Firestorm, The Atom etc. are rumored in the roster.

In other news, several rumors are making rounds regarding two possible game modes in "Injustice 2".

First of these is a "Tournament Mode" and game producer Ed Boon explained that the game mode will disable the equipment of each DC character as several players are worried that the Gear System will be a disadvantage to gamers who are new to the game.

Boon also added that there will not be any gear sold as DLC, and that online play will allow players to choose opponents that either use or do not have any gear, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

The second potential game mode is a Tag Team mode similar to 2009 "Mortal Kombat" game which was first hinted in the "Injustice 2" FAQ.

NetherRealm Studios will continue to give out more game details for "Injustice 2" possibly in the EVO 2017 and in the Community Effort Orlando or CEO 2017 event.

"Injustice 2" will launch on May 16 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
