Award season is in full swing. It started with Golden Globe in January, last week was Grammys and Oscars are just a few weeks away. One of the music's biggest events of the season, iHeartRadio music award is right around the corner, and we now know which individual singers are going to play in the ceremony this year. Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, and Chainsmokers would join Bruno Mars on stage, who was previously announced to perform.

Other singers that would play in the 2017 music awards ceremony are Shawn Mendes, Noah Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Big Sean and more.

According to Statesman, this year music festival would be a treat for music lovers as there would be solo performances, first-time duets and much more. Though who will perform with whom is not revealed yet, but viewers would be able to once in a lifetime performances on that night.

The nominations for the awards were disclosed on Jan. 4. Drake leads the nomination list with 12 nominations including the artist of the year, while Chainsmokers stands second in line with 11 nominations. Another artist has mixed nominations includes Rihanna, twenty-one pilots, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Daya, Halsey, Nicky Jam and Sia.

Ryan Seacrest, the American radio personality and the host of the reality TV music show, American Idol would be hosting the award ceremony, confirmed by Billboard.

With new awards introduced this year like the label of the year, best music video, producer of the year, fans would also vote to determine the best singer of the year. Not only this, but fan voting would also determine the Best Fan Army presented by Taco Bell, Best Collaboration, Best Lyrics, Best Song from a Movie, Best Cover Song and the first-ever Best Music Video, Social Star and Best Underground Alternative Band awards this year.
