It seems that the hinted July air date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will not be happening, as the team behind the Adult Swim animated series is still currently into deep production.

It can be remembered that "Rick and Morty" creator Dan Harmon revealed at Sundance, as cited by Indie Wire, that they don't have an exact date of release for the series' third season run. He further explained that "Rick and Morty" Season 3's delay is because of him, and even claimed an honest remark saying "If Justin [Roiland] were here he'd agree. He and I would go, 'Yeah, we fucked up,' and it's hard to put your finger on how we fucked up. 'Rick and Morty' keeps taking longer and longer to write, and I don't know why."

Since everyone wants to know more about the current status of "Rick and Morty" Season 3, Harmon hinted via his latest podcast "Harmontown" that they still need to do a lot of things for the series to be completed. The series' co-creator rapped that the team is currently drawing it and even explained what goes behind in creating "Rick and Morty," saying "here's how cartoons work. First, you write them, then you draw them for a really long time. Everything needs to be on paper. So you can see it."

Harmon even claimed that if all he will do is write and put it on TV, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 will not be like the first ones fans loved, and it will only look like a script placed on TV. The co-creator of the series even claimed prior that they are having a hard time putting the third season run due to high expectations of fans; however, they assured that they are doing their best to not have bad episode out of the 14 episodes ordered for "Rick and Morty" Season 3.

Meanwhile, since the exact air date of "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is uncertain, the franchise instead launched a galactic federation website GalacticFederation.com that teases possible plot lines for the series' third season run.

The said galactic federation website features database of all prisoners. The database includes Rick, with prisoner ID AE-3852-I, that states he was arrested for "Everything." According to Tripped Media, looking at the website multiple times will let you see FR33R1CK5455 hacking the galactic federation system. With this, it is speculated that the main protagonist of "Rick and Morty" will likely be rescued by gromflomites.
