Sony's reduced price offer for limited time is in effect now that brings down the slim and standard model of PlayStation 4 to $250. Appearing as a good deal by itself its also likely to get better.

Dell is sponsoring a $50 gift card with the purchase of the $250 Uncharted 4 bundle. This is comparable with the best deals ever made available on the console.

According to gamespot, the Dell gift card will be emailed within 10-20 days after purchase, which the buyer can use on another game, controller or any other in Dell's store.

This offer along with the interim price cut doesn't extend to the PS4 Pro. However, there are few nice deals recently added to the console. These deals are rotating as more attractive option.

In another report, neowin stated that after the price cut announced by Sony, Microsoft is also now offering a discount on all models of the Xbox One and Xbox One S.

The starting price of Microsoft's console to $250 with price cut of $50 matches with the discounted price of a PS4 currently. The discount offer of Sony will be valid until February 25. The discount is also applicable for all Xbox One bundles, and as a result, more expensive SKUs are down by $50. These are available for purchase in all major retailers apart from own stores of Microsoft.

There are three PS4 Slim bundles that buyers can select. Initially, buyers have the Uncharted 4 bundle that includes the 500GB model and a copy of the game. There's also the Call of Duty: Infinite Warefare bundle which comes with the 500GB model, a disc version of Infinite Warfare, and Modern Warfare Remastered download code.

Apparently, its not a surprise to identify that as against Sony's giant lead in the sales of the current generation of consoles, Microsoft has been competing with its pricing, offering discounts regularly and bundles apart from other incentives to encourage users to its platform.

While practicing competitive pricing and as described by Microsoft as 'epic lineup of games' for 2017, it hopes to claw back the PS4's lead of nearly twice as many shipments. Those interested in availing the benefit of the offer may check the various bundles offered by Microsoft.
