Ahead of the WWDC 2017 scheduled on June 5 and the iPhone 8 release date later in the year, Apple is rumored to stage an event this coming March and introduce new devices in the process. Up for revelation are four new iPad Pro models, an iPhone SE with 128GB of storage capacity and a Red flavor of the iPhone 7 series, new reports said.

Picking up on the latest information shared by Japanese blog MacOtakara, MacRumors reported that Apple plans to refresh its iPad lines by first killing off the iPad Air and iPad Mini, and in their stead there will be four iPad Pro variants.

Replacing the iPad Mini is the 7.9-inch iPad Pro that the blog report said will boast of a 12-megapixel main camera with True Tone flash, four-speaker configuration that was first seen with the original iPad Pro and a Smart Connector. The latter highlights the device's productivity features.

Also to be upgraded are the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros that pretty much will have the same feature bumps that is set to deploy with the iPad Mini replacement.

But it is the new iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch screen that piques the most interest. This form factor, MacRumors said, "is widely rumored to feature an edge-to-edge display without a Home button." And thanks to the nearly bezel-free front display design, the device "will have the same overall footprint as the current 9.7-inch iPad Pro."

If the rumor is true, the four new iPad Pros will complete Apple's planned rebranding of its tablet lineup that gives more emphasis on their productivity use.

Also in the cards is a third version of the 4-inch iPhone SE that the tech giant has introduced last March 2016. MacOtakara said in marking the handset's first year anniversary, Apple will start offering a 128GB flavor of the compact handset. It is likely that after the model's intro, availability will immediately follow.

And there will be a new iPhone 7 to hit the market if the MacOtakara report is to be believed. The current iOS flagship smartphone will soon come in Red, which according to iDownloadBlog.com has been the subject of speculations as early as December last year.

All these will be revealed late March, the report added, or a few months before Apple's WWDC 2017 in June and the expected iPhone 8 release date in September.
